Affection - And baby makes three

Affection

During December, I'll be exhibiting the photograph Affection at Ça décoiffe, a barber shop on Papineau Avenue run by Daniel Haché. The photograph is inspired by Daniel Rondeau's poem Idylle éthylique. The poem explores the many ways two lovers can quench each other's thirst for each other.

I took the photograph Affection while I was having dinner with friends recently at M sur Masson, a bistro on Masson Street in Montreal. The two friends whose hands appear in the photograph had just announced that they're expecting a baby next year.

You're welcome to attend the opening of the show at Ça décoiffe ... although unfortunately I won't be able to attend myself. The opening will be on December 2, 2009 at 9:00 PM ... the night of the full moon! Ça décoiffe is located at 4526 Papineau Avenue (map) next to La Tulipe.

Even if you're not able to attend the opening, feel free to drop in during to the barber shop the month of December to view Affection and the photographs of the other participants in the show.

The barber shop is open Thursday (9:00-6:00), Friday (12:00-8:00), Saturday (9:00-4:00), Sunday (10:00-5:00) and Monday (9:00-6:00).
