Brooklyn Bridge - Between sea and sky

As I was walking across the Brooklyn Bridge late in the afternoon on January 13, 2005, my eye was caught by a striking view. I got out my camera and took some shots of the neighboring Manhattan Bridge. Before long I was aiming my lens at interesting vistas in all directions. What's normally a 10-minute walk across the Brooklyn Bridge stretched into a 2-hour exploration of views from this remarkable hanging pathway.

Suspended Between Brooklyn and Manhattan is the result of this walk, which began in daylight at 4:00 PM and ended by moonlight at 6:00 PM.
