Fort Myers Beach - The essence of Florida

Over the New Year's holiday, a friend and I drove from her home in Almonte, Ontario to Fort Myers Beach (map), a resort community on the Gulf Coast of Florida. My friend is a snowbird who spends the winter in Florida. I stayed with her at her condo in Fort Myers Beach for about a week.

My friend and I made a similar trip two years ago. The photographs in this series are a combination of images from 2008 and 2010.
