Plastic bottle - Wasting water

I spotted this discarded water bottle while I was walking through the Rosemont district of Montreal recently. It used to be shiny and new and filled with water. Now it's shiny and new and lying on the ground. How much longer will we drink water from single-use bottles when refillable bottles are so widely available?

This picture is part of a group photography exhibition called Wasting water. The show is on at Ça décoiffe, a barber shop run by Daniel Haché on Papineau Avenue. Daniel has turned the walls of his barber shop into a gallery. He hosts a group photography every month.

You can view my photograph Plastic bottle and the other photographs in the show during business hours at Ça decoiffe: Monday (9:00-6:00), Thursday (9:00-6:00), Friday (12:00-8:00), Saturday (9:00-4:00) and Sunday (10:00-5:00). Ça décoiffe is located at 4526 Papineau Avenue, just above Mont Royal Avenue.

If you'd like to participate in the exhibitions at Ça décoiffe, make sure speak to Daniel while you're at the barber shop/gallery. The theme of the next show will be Taxis don't understand anything about love. It's a line from the play D'Alaska by the Québécois playwright Sébastien Harrisson. Everyone is welcome to attend the opening, which will be at 9:00 PM on November 21, 2010 ... the night of the full moon!
