Head shots - Sex cité

One evening this summer, I finished a photography workshop at LL Lozeau and I walked out onto the Plaza St. Hubert. I had my camera with me so I decided to photograph some of the mannequins in the store windows along the Plaza. I was looking for an image to use in the October group show at Ça décoiffe, a barber shop on Papineau Avenue in Montreal. I found what I was looking for at Sex cité, a sex shop that always has gorgeous window displays.

Ça décoiffe is run by Daniel Haché, a barber who has an interest in photography. Daniel has turned the walls of his barber shop into a gallery and he hosts a group photography show there every month. The theme of this month's show is Head(s).

You can view my photograph Head shots and the other photographs in the show during business hours at Ça decoiffe: Monday (9:00-6:00), Thursday (9:00-6:00), Friday (12:00-8:00), Saturday (9:00-4:00) and Sunday (10:00-5:00). Ça décoiffe is located at 4526 Papineau Avenue, just above Mont Royal Avenue. 

If you'd like to participate in the exhibitions at Ça décoiffe, make sure speak to Daniel while you're at the barber shop/gallery. The theme of the next show will be Wasting water. Everyone is welcome to attend the opening, which will be at 9:00 PM on October 22, 2010 ... the night of the full moon!
