Japan - Tranquil moments

Red parasol
Little Buddha

Hiroshima, Japan is my second home. I was an English teacher there for three years in the 1980s. I've been back to see my friends in Hiroshima twice, in 1996 and 2005.

During my two-week stay in 2005 I made several day trips in Hiroshima Prefecture and the neighboring prefectures of Yamaguchi and Shimane. The photos in this series were taken at Sanzoku Restaurant, Iwakuni; Yamagata District; Tsuwano; Hanbe Gardens, Hiroshima; Kamagari Island; and Sanzoku Restaurant, Onokami.
