Penny's Place - Lunch on Klondike Highway
June 6, 2010
In August 2005, I visited my sister Anne Landry and her partner Rosanne Konrad at their home in Whitehorse, Yukon.
While I was visiting, Anne and I took a road trip to Dawson City, six hours north of Whitehorse on the Klondike Highway. Along the way we stopped at Pelly Crossing for lunch. Our friendly servers at Penny's Place were Sandy Trerice and Ann.
Penny's Place is part of a group photography exhibition at Ça décoiffe, a barber shop on Papineau Avenue. The theme of this month's show is Fast food.
Ça décoiffe is located at 4526 Papineau Avenue (map) next to La Tulipe.
Feel free to drop into the barber shop to view Penny's Place and the photographs of the other participants in the show. The exhibition runs until June 25, 2010.
The barber shop is open Thursday (9:00-6:00), Friday (12:00-8:00), Saturday (9:00-4:00), Sunday (10:00-5:00) and Monday (9:00-6:00).
