Winter light - Sphères polaires

The Place des Festivals is a new outdoor plaza next to Place des Arts in Montreal. Each season brings new delight to the plaza. This winter's fantasy is the Sphères polaires, or Polar spheres. It's a collection of gigantic air-filled balloons that have ever-changing light shows projected from inside. They're the creation of Lucion Média. I photographed the Sphères polaires a couple of nights ago as I was coming home from the movies.
