Foam magazine ... and my mother

Foam is one of my favorite photography magazines. I discovered it on a visit to the Photographers' Gallery in London in 2009. It's published quarterly by Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam in the Netherlands. The portfolios are always thought-provoking and the quality of the printing is exceptional.

Foam recently asked its readers to photograph their collections of the magazine. I keep my back issues in the bookcase in my dining room. Next to the bookcase is an abstract photo of nature by my mother, Mary Landry, who's also a photographer. My mother and Foam are two of my main inspirations.
